Fashioned after Chicago’s Cows on Parade, Batavia will unleash a bevy of bulldogs on downtown Batavia in summer 2011.
Bulldogs Unleashed is a community-wide cultural arts project produced through a unique collaborative partnership among the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence, the Batavia Parks Foundation and the Batavia Public Library Foundation.
While Bulldogs Unleashed has many purposes, the most important is to promote “all things Batavia” through an encouraged sense of pride, spirit, and loyalty. It is a celebration of the cultural liveliness and quality of life that all residents in Batavia have come to know and love. Local artists also benefit as the new exhibit will help celebrate their work.
